Venessa speaking on stage
Vanessa attended Parent Talk with her mum when she was nine. One of the parents beckoned her to come on stage and speak with them. It was a pivotal event. She realized that she could inspire many people. Her venture took off from there. Starting motivational speaking is always nerve-wracking, and people tend to make many mistakes. In the initial stages of her enterprise, she learned a few valuable lessons, like not everyone around you knows what’s the best for you, and one can come across as fake. “Others can place you in a compromising position, and you can find it very difficult to recover,” she said. Burn out has been a big challenge that Vanessa has faced. As a teenager with a lot of schoolwork and social media accounts to manage after school could be overwhelming. Despite life’s pressures, she tries to take time out for herself by reading and watching movies. Relaxing helps her find new energiesVenessa Booksand ideas for her new projects. Taking these lessons into account, Vanessa came out much stronger and more powerful to do what she loves doing!
