1. E-Cell, IIT Bombay
The Entrepreneurship Cell at IIT Bombay is a student organization which motivates students to bring out their latent spirit of enterprise. It is completely run by students of IIT, Bombay. The students at E-cell, IIT Bombay, organize initiatives like the annual business plan competition Eureka! and the flagship event, The Entrepreneurship Summit (E-Summit) event to select best startup ideas and incubate them. About 7000 startups have been participated in events conducted by E-Cell, IIT Bombay in which more than 250,000+ students and 100,000+ professionals got involved. With the National Entrepreneurship Challenge, they help colleges across India to establish their own Entrepreneurship Cell. The Entrepreneurship and Business Club is a platform maintained by E-cell, IIT Bombay, where college students, school members of IIT Bombay and experts can interact on a ordinary foundation for discussions brainstorming classes, informal sessions and networking. Primary track activities are held for fanatics and advanced track activities for experienced college students.
2. E-Cell, IIT Kharagpur
Entrepreneurship Cell, IIT Kharagpur (E-Cell) was established in 2006 under the aegis of STEP (Science and Technology Entrepreneurs’ Park) and is a non-profit student’s organization dedicated to promoting the spirit of entrepreneurship among students throughout India. Their flagship event, Global Entrepreneur Summit (GES) is a platform where entrepreneurial minds throughout the world meet, where inspired by old ideas, new ones arise and where these ideas are put to test. It is a get-together of motivated students, aspiring entrepreneurs as well as established professionals, who meet under various formal and informal sessions, which include Guest Lectures, Workshops, Panel Discussions, Product Expo, Connect the Dots conference and a Global Entrepreneurship Conference which has participation of various international universities. They also conduct Empresario, India's first business model competition in association with International Business Model Competition (IBMC). Empresario presents a platform for students to get incredible expert mentorship from experienced, various, and prominent mentor pool, and to showcase their ideas in the front of project Capitalists, Angel investors and enterprise Leaders.
3. E-Cell, IIT Madras
The Entrepreneurship Cell of IIT-Madras is a student-run organization of spirited individuals who are strivingto create, foster and promote entrepreneurship among the students of IIT Madras. The E-Cell helps the young entrepreneurs towards their goals through all the resources like mentoring, consultancy and networking with Alumni, Entrepreneurs and Angel Investors. What makes exciting about this E-cell is that their flag ship event, E-summit is one of the highly celebrated Entrepreneurship fests across India led by E-Cell, IIT Madras. With their Startup Series initiative, they have come up with a program of 45 days for teenagers to come in with an idea and leave with the skills necessary to convert it into a venture. This event would provide a good idea of what it takes to start a company by conducting workshops and mentoring sessions along with an experiential component where teams put into practice the learnings from the workshops in different tasks. This program is exclusively for the teen entrepreneurs who are certainly with a passion to write their startup diaries.
